Aerobatic
Delta-wing Park Flyer ARF
Dixie Delta will do amazing aerobatics… at the flying field or
nearby park or playground. The functional rudder enables
Dixie Delta to snap and spin as well as loop and roll.
It's wild! Hello Blender!
Dixie Delta is a perfect "first delta". If
you can fly an aileron trainer, you can fly Dixie Delta.
And... our
Plug'nFly motor accessory completely eliminates the mystique
of wiring your power system. Just plug it together and
you're ready to fly!
Dixie Delta has been engineered for strength,
lightness, and great flying fun. The plane assembles very
quickly and can be flown on 3-channel radios with elevon
mixing. With a 4-channel
radio, you can add rudder control for uniquely "gripping"
aerobatics!
The highly maneuverable Dixie Delta can be flown
on a 3-cell lipoly battery. The T2730-1300 brushless outrunner
motor is highly recommended for exceptional power, versatility,
and value. Match it with a GWS 7x3.5 HD prop. Add a 10 amp brushless
ESC and complete your power system with a 360-3S lipoly and you’re good to go!

What Else Do I Need?
Sub-Micro Servos
(3):
Any 4 to 6 gram servos will work. Weight is important.
See our Package Deals!
ESC
(Electronic Speed Control):
Any 9-10 amp unit designed for brushless motors
should work well.
Motors:
Dixie Delta was designed
specifically for the new breed of inexpensive
brushless
outrunner motors.
Exceptionally small and light-weight, these motors provide
plenty of power without using a gear box.

LiPoly
Battery & Charger:
Lithium Polymer batteries should
be used to energize your
Dixie Delta. The recommended
power system draws about 4 amps at full throttle, so battery
selection needs to accommodate this. Use the lightest
battery commensurate with stated current requirements. Our
360-3S lipoly is excellent here.
Finishing:
Your Dixie Delta comes pre-colored as
shown! Nothing to do but a few simple assembly steps and
you're ready to fly!
Here's how it comes out of the box:
