GWS Pico Stick:  Slow & Relaxing Park Flyer ARF

Newbies, beginners, intermediates, experts..this Stick's for YOU!

GWS Pico Stick is a perfect "first plane".  Its slow and gentle flight characteristics are enhanced by its light weight which also makes it very durable in case of a mishap.  In slightly more capable hands, Pico Stick will loop and even do mild aerobatics!

We have specially combined the stock GWS Pico Stick with our ever-popular Westport "Blue Thunder" brushless CD-ROM outrunner motor.  This combination makes for no-maintenance, super-quiet, long and relaxing flights!

What Else Do I Need?

Sub-Micro Servos (2)

Any 4 to 6 gram servos will work.  Weight is important.  Bluebird BMS-306 servos are what we sell. They're fast and center well.

ESC (Electronic Speed Control)

Any 5-10 amp unit designed for brushless motors should work.

Motor

We packaged the GWS Pico Stick with our inexpensive brushless CD-ROM motor.  Unlike the stock IPS motor, this motor requires NO maintenance and flies super quiet since it is direct-drive (no noisy gearbox).
Exceptionally small and light-weight, these motors provide 3X power without using a gear box.

LiPoly Battery & Charger

Lithium Polymer batteries should be used to energize your GWS Pico Stick.  The recommended power system draws about 3.5 amps at full throttle, so battery selection needs to accommodate this.  Use the lightest battery commensurate with stated current requirements.  Our CS500-2S Lipo battery will give you 20+minute flights!

Transmitter

We sell the popular GWS 4-channel transmitter, although any 3-or-more channel transmitter will work fine.

Receiver

We sell several popular receivers, although any 9-gram or lighter 3-or-more channel unit will work.
