GWS Pico Tiger Moth:  Mild Aerobatic Park Flyer

Newbies, beginners, intermediates, experts...this bipe's for YOU!

GWS Pico Tiger Moth is a perfect park flyer.  Its slow and gentle flight characteristics are enhanced by its light weight which also makes it very durable in case of a mishap.  In slightly more capable hands, Pico Tiger Moth will loop, spin, and fly inverted!

We have specially combined the stock GWS Pico Tiger Moth with our ever-popular Westport "Slo-Fly" brushless CD-ROM outrunner motor.  This powerful combination makes for no-maintenance, super-quiet, long and relaxing flights!

What Else Do I Need?

Sub-Micro Servos (2)

Any 4 to 6 gram servos will work well.  Check out our Servos.

ESC (Electronic Speed Control)

Any 9-10 amp unit designed for brushless motors should work well.

Motor

We packaged the MAE Pico Tiger Moth with our inexpensive brushless CD-ROM motor.  Unlike the stock IPS motor, this motor requires NO maintenance and flies super quiet since it is direct-drive (no noisy gearbox).
Exceptionally small and light-weight, these motors provide 3X power without using a gear box.

LiPoly Battery & Charger

Lithium Polymer batteries should be used to energize your Pico Tiger Moth.  The recommended power system draws about 4.5 amps at full throttle, so battery selection needs to accommodate this.  Use the lightest battery commensurate with stated current requirements.  Our CS500-2S will give you 15-minute flights!  Our CS500-3S and 8x4 HD prop will give you 30+ minute flights!

Transmitter

We sell the popular GWS 4-channel transmitter, although any 3-or-more channel transmitter will work fine.

Receiver

We sell several popular receivers, although any 9-gram or lighter 3-or-more channel unit will work.
