What Else Do I Need?
Materials to
Complete Air Frame
• Balsa wood, per plan & instructions
• 1/8" x 16" CF tube for "backbone"
(available
HERE)
• .032" x 18" music wire for control linkages
• 3/32" x 3/32" x 27" bass or spruce for wing stringers
Sub-Micro Servos
(3)
Any 4 to 6 gram servo will work
well. Weight is important. Bluebird BMS-306 servos
recommended.
ESC
(Electronic Speed Control)
Castle Creations'
Phoenix-10
or new economical
Thunderbird-9 are just the ticket for
this bird. Any 9-amp unit designed for brushless motors
should work.
Motor
We highly recommend our MAE/Westport brushless outrunner motors.
These weigh only 3/4-oz and generate 10+ ounces of thrust on a
2-cell lipoly.
LiPoly
Battery & Charger
Lithium Polymer batteries should be used to power your Nemesis
3D-II. Our 500-2S, 7.4V, 10C lipo is highly recommended
and will provide 10-12 minutes of all-out aerobatics.
Covering
SoLite or Nelson Lite-Film is best for
covering
your Nemesis. It applies like Monokote or Ultracote, but
weighs only 1/3 as much @ 0.6 ounce/yard.
