Aerobatic Wing Park Flyer ARF

Tumble Buddy Jr. will do amazing aerobatics… at the flying field or nearby park or playground.  Huge control surfaces + Huge throws = WILD!  But... it's very slooow, which makes flying it a breeze.

Tumble Buddy Jr. is a perfect "first delta".  If you can fly an aileron trainer, you can fly Tumble Buddy Jr.  And... our Plug'nFly motor accessory completely eliminates the mystique of wiring your power system.  Just plug it together and you're ready to fly!

Tumble Buddy Jr. has been engineered for strength, lightness, and great flying fun. The plane assembles very quickly and can be flown easily with high-thrust and slow flight speed... due to our 25-turn motor swinging a huge 10" prop at low RPM.

The highly maneuverable Tumble Buddy Jr. can be flown on either 2-cell or 3-cell lipoly batteries. The T2730-1300 brushless outrunner motor is highly recommended for exceptional power, versatility, and value. Match it with a GWS 10x6 HD prop on 2S, or GWS 8x4 HD prop on 3S.  Either way, a 9-amp brushless ESC is all that’s required. Complete your power system with a 460-2S or 360-3S lipoly and you’re good to go!

What Else Do I Need?

Sub-Micro Servos (3):

Any 4 to 6 gram servos will work.  Weight is important.  See our Package Deals!

ESC (Electronic Speed Control):

Any 9-10 amp unit designed for brushless motors should work well.

Motors:

Tumble Buddy Jr. was designed specifically for the new breed of inexpensive brushless motors.
Exceptionally small and light-weight, these motors provide plenty of power without using a gear box.

LiPoly Battery & Charger:

Lithium Polymer batteries should be used to energize your Tumble Buddy Jr.  The recommended power system draws about 5 amps at full throttle, so battery selection needs to accommodate this.  Use the lightest battery commensurate with stated current requirements.  Our 500-2S or 500-3S lipolys are excellent here.

Finishing:

Your Tumble Buddy Jr. comes pre-colored as shown!  Nothing to do but a few simple assembly steps and you're ready to fly!
